  • Colocation Miami a manual on how to make the most of yours

The term Miami Colocation used to refer both to the computer on which are hosted the websites and also to the software that delivers websites content or performs the required operations to build the dynamic content which is later served to the user. Some of these centers overcome only the operations architecture on the company; others are much more comprehensive.

One of many largest and most common uses of an data center is with regard to offsite data storage. This provides a safe, secure place for any storage of a company's data. The backup services provided by these centers keep the information safe not only with theft, but from fire and flooding as well.

Sending data on the center is often rather easy. While some companies nevertheless use backup tapes, many are now using encrypted backups sent via the internet. With all of some sort of company's data safe within such types of centers, it takes a great deal of worry off the mind of the business owners.

    .

Proximity's powerful. Recall being caught by way of the sugary scent of Cinnabon whilst hurrying with the airport? Whatever is nearby we're more likely to sample. So what if they had handy locations near home, work or places you visit enabling you to borrow or rent some sort of bike, rather than get in a car?

That's proper choice. That's why medical insurance firm, Humana partnered with Trek to provide more people that inviting choice. Together they released a ZipCar-style program for bicycles. First, Humana offered the service to their own employees. To make their service part of a movement the partners reevaluated edgy ad agency, Crispin Porter + Bogusky. With B-cycle, you can purchase and return a bicycle at handy locations. All three firms reaped considerable press coverage once they demo'd the program at the Republican National Convention along with the Democratic National Convention.

Next thing I'd suggest: involve the major cycling organizations and the National League of Cities in preparing a how-to template to help towns jumpstart their own program.

Precisely what, for example, have Philadelphia, Montreal, Denver, Minneapolis, Miami South Beach learned? Creating the template and an network around B-cyle would encourage crowdsourcing guidelines for faster adoption - and useful original partners in the center of the movement.

Next? The partnering firms could invite the mayors to join them in asking the feds for money for more towns to look at that green and heathy web template. (Partnering, done correct, inspires participants to share and hone what they've done - and choose bigger benefits for absolutely everyone.)

The core partnership benefits this illustrates:

o By encouraging people, which include their clients, to get more exercise, Humana saves money.

o By piggybacking over the much larger Humana for marketing power, Trek reaches more would-be bike clients

o Unlike bikes, health insurance is harder to picture and not as fun. Humana benefits from the friendly "face" with Trek.

o By creating a first ever service, partners help launch a movement and inevitably attract particular attention. (The Humana/Trek partnership is the main sustainable transportation movement.)

Hint: What could you co-create with partners that will benefit your customers while losing costs of doing business?
